Tide Rolls in Death valley (week 11)

TIDE ROLLS IN DEATH VALLEY

The Tide Rolled in to death valley Saturday night in to a playoff elimination game that had implications for the sec and beyond but lets break down what happened in this important game

Tide starts out hot

jalen milroe started out hot going 12/18 185 yards  after starting out the game with a false start putting them 2nd & 14 jalen with the rain was able to to distribute the ball to his play makers  haynes, willams, and miller hitting

Jalen milroe

the lsu hard in the air and on the ground with jalens legs and the beatings continued on defense with the tide defensive line  forcing the lsu offense in to long yardage and making mistakes

LSU WOES

The tigers came in to this game struggling against mobile quarterbacks like marcel reed (a&m) and seller at south Carolina but how did lsu do? with gerret nussmier went 27/42 239 yds with 2 interceptions but that is only the part of the story coming in to this game it always came down to a line of scrimmage game alabama was physical, violent, intentional Saturday evening showing that 4-2-5 swarm defense in all of its glory

PLAYOFF RACE

with one of many elimination games out of the way the tide has a chance to get in to the playoffs but they must win out to get in the playoffs they must beat mercer, oklohoma, auburn, and then alabama will be 10-2 and there is also the sec championship against who ever wins out at the end of the year

Alabama Vs Missouri

After 2 losses to Tennessee and Vanderbilt Alabama comes in to the game with their season on the line but thats nether here nor there lets get in to the missouri tigers

Missouri Defense :

Missouri plays in a 4-2-5 defensive formation that has 2 defensive tackles a field end and a joker and a defensive end 2 Linebackers and a middle line backer in the middle an the outside the objective off this defense is to keep the ball in front and to stop explosive plays.

Missouri offense:

The tigers run a pistol formation that employs tes heavily (look at 2010 auburn) these tight ends can be used for run blocking that stems from the inside looks that Missouri runs to get stretch plays this shows that Missouri relies on the run game heavily and Alabama needs to force missouri in to long downs and yardage situations on Saturday afternoon

Stats:

PPG :33.4

Total points:234

Total TDs 27

penalties;40-343 (60th in the sec)

Conclusion:

Alabama has Their season on the line but we are confident that Alabama can bounce back and keep their season marching to the inaugural 12 team playoff and to win a national championship without nick saban at the helm but they have 8 more games till the real work begins

What is plaguing college football?

In this modern landscape of college football with nil, fake injuries, transfer portal there are issues that are plaguing college Football but what are the issues?.

But what are the issues that are around college football? lets dive in to it first and foremost lets look at 4 highlighted issues

fake injuries':

In this first issue a issue is fake injuries' in the sport time is is everything but you don't wanna take a delay of game but how do coaches address this? well some will send a player out to fall and fake a injurie to incur a extra 30 second timeout for inquires (fake injuries) but that is only one thing that must be tackled and looked at and taken care of.

NIL:

We at skyarccfb have already spoken about the pitfalls and the good of nil but also how it is ripe with cheating and misuse but the problem that we ask is this how do you manage such? because it promotes a quasi free agency and misuse it becomes a tale of the haves and the have nots in cfb and if you want to know our thoughts fully on the matter read this article on nil

Transfer portal:

Just like the nil issue this promotes the idea its not ok to compete with and for your team when your team when you face adversity and thats something these young men need to understand when the going gets rough they need to stand shoulder to shoulder with their team to win a national championship but how does the ncaa fix that? how do they address it?

Social Media :

While this is not a ncaa issue but more of a player issue players let the garbage of college football social media in to their head and that is something that coaches and coordinators need to address as time goes on but my question is this : coaches how do you manage this in your programs?

Closing :

We are the custodians and the care takers of college football we must and always push college football in a healthy direction

Rules of the air raid

Just like the philosophy of the air raid its about putting speed in space and getting the ball out quckly

• in a 3 by one set (using trips right as an example)  the quarterback works from the outside in with the furthest Wr bring his first read and he progresses and if all wrs (or the te) is covered he will go to his hot route which is the running back but we will dive in to that

HOT Routes

Now you are probably wondering what is a hot route in football?

a hot route is a route that is called at the los (line of scrimmage ) when a blitz or pressure is coming  a hot route is a short route like a slant for example look below  at the play call below

From right right to left  the wide receiver on the right will be the qbs first read  the wr (or te depending on play) will be the second read and last wr in the bunch is the 3rd read    the last 2 players in the progression  will be the Wr on the far left of the formation running the seam (remember speed in space) the running back will be the hot route to give you a more visual representation hot routes  watch the linked video

Conclusion :

i hope this gives more visual reprensation of what the air raid can do and how it can win teams games
