nil and the effects it has on college football

 nil and its effects

At its surface nil can be a used for wonderful things but it can be rife with misuse and and cheating over the last 5 years college football has transformed in to a sport where teams will buy recruits and that is some thing we dont need but the question is how do we fix it?.

i suggest we move nil funds where players can get the money after their four years (graduation) of playing at that school and they can use that money to pay off schooling and set themselves up for life and pay medical bills but who manages this?, not congress not the ncaa but can we trust the schools that we are not sure but there must be a way to make a fix for it all especially with Colorado's qb making 5.1 mill

but we must ask is this what we want for college football? not a bit we need to address this and address this soon

STATS:

Down below is the nil cash that's most schools are paying on average
QB :500k-800k
RB:200k -300k
WR :75k-300k
OL:350k-500k
DL :250k-600k
LB:100k-300k
DB:120k-225k

Brief history:

Nil officially started on July 1fst 2021  but the foundation was laid in 2019 and the ncaa signed a 2.7 billon dollar agreement in may to begin paying players once revenue sharing is approved and be shared in 2025

How much do schools pay?

$1.17 billon with Alabama leading the most with it

Schools play 103,000k a year in nil

Conclusion:

The question is this i must ask for the college football folks is this what we want for the sport we love?  do we really want qausi free agency?
